Lorenzo Lumassi serves as Senior Regional Director of Symantec Service Group for the Mediterranean Region (Italy, Iberia, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Israel, Balkans, Hungary and Romania).
Holding this position, Lumassi will be responsible for guiding the Service Group division in this assigned market.
This division has taken on a crucial role at Symantec, and its objective is the sustained alignment of company IT infrastructures with strategic business goals.
Specifically, Lumassi will be responsible for defining aims and strategies for developing entire Symantec Service Group portfolio offers focused on three business aspects: processes, people and technology through the following business units: Consulting, Managed Services, Education and Critical Business.
Formerly, Lumassi was Regional Director of Symantec Global Services in Italy and in the Southern Region.
In 2006, Lumassi managed the merger of Symantec and VERITAS Business Unit services, giving life to the new Symantec Consulting division.
In 2003, Lumassi came to work at VERITAS Software as Consulting Manager for Italy, with the responsibility of creating a services division and defining aims and strategies for developing the Italian market.
In 2002, Lumassi was Team Leader of the Storage division of Sun Professional Services Italia.
Previously, he covered different consulting roles for Sun Microsystem, actively collaborating in the development of service business in the Storage & Availability field.
Lumassi began his professional career working at a Sun Microsystem partner company as Sun System Engineer. |
