Macellari has extensive experience on issues related to offline and online insurance, the global securities markets; banking, and trading; channel management; and customer relationship management.
Her career has touched technology trends in retail and institutional asset management, with particular emphasis on front-, middle-, and back-office applications, wealth management technology, trading and advisor-focused platforms and tools, and regulatory compliance.
Given her experience, Macellari is often involved in consulting projects supporting financial institutions to align their IT strategies with business requirements as well as with IT vendors to understand the financial services specific technology demand and to fine-tune their offering.
Background
Macellari comes to Financial Insights after working as a manager for Practice Finance within IDC's consulting division.
She has developed a deep and broad experience with high technology companies and financial services, having taken an active role as project leader in many consulting engagements that have supported strategic decisions of clients in the financial services sector.
Before joining IDC, Macellari worked as a strategic marketing consultant for several IT companies in Italy, where she identified and conducted acquisitions of companies in South America and the Far East, and she worked as a broker in London.
Education and Industry Affiliations
Macellari has spoken at several industry conferences and she is also a frequent lecturer at the Bocconi University of Milan.
She holds a university degree in law, majoring in economic law, from the University of Perugia; an MBA in information systems from SDA Bocconi in Milan; and a post degree diploma in export-trade. She attended post degree courses at the University College of London. In addition, Macellari is a qualified barrister in Italy. |
